Photograms

 

The photograms were really cool. The way they made the image a little fuzzy was unique. I used photoshop to change the levels to make it look a little better. I think plant material turns out best, because it absorbs the sunlight.

Retro Designed Website

Level 2 Design created a website that has a retro style. The perspective of the image really helps to move the viewers eye through the website. The use of cracks and rough texture makes it feel retro. They use retro cars in their website to show the age as well.

John Lennon in Typography

I love the use of elegant script fonts and the asymmetrical balance. I found this example off of Deviant Art. It attracted me because you have to study the image before you can make out who it is. The script font used effectively shows the viewer John Lennon's personality. The only line of type separate from the image made is the name of one of his songs.

Bahamas Logo

The Bahamas logo is a great example of logo design. I love the use of uppercase and lowercase type to create contrast. Although I think the colorful designs detract from the text, they help catch the viewers eye. The great number of colors give you a feel of the beauty in the Bahamas.
